Gembird cavo in fibra ottica multimodale duplex OM4 50/125 LC/LC 10 m

The Gembird Multimode Duplex OM4 50/125 Fiber Optic Cable LC/LC 10 m is designed for high-speed data transmission in local area networks. Its duplex construction allows simultaneous send and receive channels, while the 50/125 µm OM4 multimode profile supports high bandwidth applications and reduced modal dispersion for reliable performance in modern networking environments.

Advantages

This fiber cable supports data transfer rates up to 100 Gbps and is optimized for short to medium distance high-speed links. Integrated LC-to-LC connectors provide a compact, reliable connection compatible with standard network equipment. The OM4 multimode specification offers improved bandwidth and lower signal loss compared to lower-grade multimode fibers.

How to use

Connect each LC connector to the corresponding LC ports on networking equipment, ensuring correct polarity for transmit and receive channels. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain minimum bend radius as recommended by the equipment or installation guidelines. Verify link status in connected devices and test throughput where required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this OM4 duplex fiber for short to medium distance high-bandwidth connections in controlled indoor environments such as data centres and server rooms, and pair with compatible LC ports and transceivers rated for OM4 multimode operation.
