Cavo in fibra ottica Alcasa LW-830LS5 30 m LC SC verde

The Alcasa LW-830LS5 30 m LC SC Green OM5 fibre optic cable provides a 30-metre duplex connection with LC and SC terminations and a 50 μm core designed for multimode high-speed data transmission. Built for structured cabling and network backbone links, this fibre assembly supports short- to medium-range optical networks in data centres, enterprise networks and telecommunication racks while maintaining signal integrity across multimode systems.

Advantages

This OM5 fibre cable offers low insertion loss and controlled return loss suitable for multimode transceivers and patch panels. The 50 μm core supports modern multimode protocols and wavelength division applications, while the LC and SC connectors provide compatibility with a wide range of network equipment. The green jacket improves visual identification in mixed-cable environments and the 30 m length enables flexible run layouts without intermediate splice points.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and horizontal/vertical cabling
• High-speed multimode networks using OM5 fibre
• Interconnecting switches, transceivers and fibre panels with LC and SC ports
• Testing and temporary connections during installation and maintenance

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM5 multimode
• Length: 30 m
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector A: LC (duplex)
• Connector B: SC (duplex)
• Jacket colour: Green
• Typical use: Patch/patch cord for short- to medium-range links

How to use

Route the cable along the planned cable trays or through conduits, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tensile stress. Insert the LC and SC connectors into the corresponding ports on transceivers, switches or patch panels until they click securely. Verify proper seating and test the link with appropriate optical test equipment to confirm insertion loss and continuity before putting the connection into production.

Recommendations

Handle fibre connectors by the boot or connector body and keep dust caps on until installation. Clean connector endfaces with suitable fibre cleaning tools prior to mating. Maintain minimum bend radius guidelines and avoid kinking; store excess length in service loops. Use OM5-compliant transceivers and patch panel components to ensure expected multimode performance.
