Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand Alcasa LW-U920LC 20 m 2x LC giallo

The Alcasa LW-U920LC InfiniBand fibre optic cable 20 m 2x LC Yellow is a single-mode optical patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in networking and data centre environments. With a 9 µm core diameter and OS2-grade performance, this 20-metre cable provides low attenuation and stable signal integrity over longer distances. The cable features two LC connectors and a yellow jacket that follows common industry colour conventions for single-mode links.

Advantages

This InfiniBand fibre optic cable offers low insertion loss and a construction suitable for rack-to-rack, switch-to-switch and equipment-to-equipment connections. The 9 µm core and OS2 specification provide compatibility with single-mode transceivers and support long-distance, high-bandwidth links. The LC connectors deliver a compact form factor and reliable mating for dense patching panels.

Suitable for

• Data centre uplinks and cross-connects
• High-speed InfiniBand interconnects
• Server and switch patch panels
• Telecommunications and backbone single-mode links

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 m
• Connector type: 2 × LC
• Mode: Single-mode (OS2)
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Jacket colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect each LC connector to the appropriate LC receptacle on transceivers, patch panels or network equipment, ensuring correct polarity and secure latching. Route the cable along trays or cable management channels to avoid tight bends; observe the minimum bend radius specified by your equipment or cabling standards. Test the link after installation with appropriate optical test equipment to verify insertion loss and continuity.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable to prevent contamination of connector endfaces; use dust caps when connectors are not engaged and clean endfaces before mating. For best performance, avoid sharp bends, excessive tension, and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or mechanical stress. Match the cable mode and connector type with your transceivers and patching infrastructure.
