InLine Outdoor Connector Cat.6A impermeabile IP68 69992W

The InLine Outdoor Connector Cat.6A waterproof IP68 69992W is an outdoor-rated connection box that provides a shielded Cat.6A RJ-45 coupling for joining two solid 8‑pin patch cords. With an IP68 rating, the connector is designed to protect network joints from dust and prolonged immersion in water, making it suitable for external installations where a sealed Ethernet connection is required.

Advantages

The connector offers a shielded Cat.6A interface supporting high-speed data transmission and improved protection against electromagnetic interference. Its IP68 enclosure ensures dust-tight protection and resistance to water ingress for outdoor or exposed locations. The unit uses an LSA-style termination compatible with solid 8‑pin patch cords, enabling a secure, vibration-resistant connection without soldering.

How to use

Prepare two solid 8‑pin patch cords by stripping the outer sheath to the length required by the connector and ensuring conductors are aligned correctly. Insert each cable into the respective side of the connection box and terminate using the LSA contact slots according to the color code. Close and secure the enclosure to engage the IP68 sealing elements. Verify the mechanical fit and perform network testing (e.g., continuity or certification test) to confirm proper signal transmission.

Recommendations

Ensure the connector is assembled following the manufacturer’s torque and sealing instructions, use solid-conductor Cat6A-compliant patch cords, and test the completed joint for performance. For long-term outdoor installations, periodically inspect seals and mounting points to maintain IP68 protection.
