Lindy 1,0 m OM3 LC - SC duplex cavo InfiniBand/fibra ottica 1 m turchese

The Lindy 1.0m OM3 LC - SC Duplex fibre optic cable is a 1 metre multimode link designed for high-speed data transmission in network and data centre environments. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM3 performance rating, the cable supports full duplex communication via LC to SC connectors. Its turquoise outer jacket provides clear visual identification for structured cabling and easy separation from other link types.

Advantages

This OM3 multimode cable offers low attenuation and consistent signal quality for short- to medium-range links. The LC and SC duplex connectors provide reliable push-pull mating and good mechanical stability in patch panels and transceivers. The 1.0 m length balances flexibility and tidiness in rack and cabinet arrangements, while the colour-coded jacket simplifies cable management and fault finding.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between transceivers and switches in data centres
• Interconnects within telecom wiring closets and server racks
• High-speed multimode links for storage area networks and SAN fabrics
• Short- to medium-distance optical links in enterprise networks

Key specifications

• Fibre mode: Multimode
• OM rating: OM3
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector A: LC duplex
• Connector B: SC duplex
• Duplex/full duplex support: Yes
• Length: 1.0 m
• Jacket colour: Turquoise

How to use

Connect the LC duplex end to the LC-compatible transceiver or patch panel port and the SC duplex end to the SC-compatible device or panel. Ensure connectors are clean before insertion to prevent performance degradation; use appropriate fibre-cleaning tools if available. Route the cable through cable managers or tie points to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the fibre standard. Verify link operation using network diagnostics or a light source and power meter where necessary.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fibre cable by the jacket rather than pulling on the connectors. Keep connector dust caps on until ready to connect. Avoid bending the cable beyond recommended limits and maintain a clean environment when making terminations or connections to preserve signal integrity.
