Lindy 3m LC-SC OS2 9/125 cavo patch in fibra ottica

The Lindy 3m LC-SC OS2 9/125 fibre optic patch cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in telecom and network environments. With a 3 metre length and singlemode OS2 construction, it supports full-duplex communication and long-distance links while maintaining low attenuation. The cable terminates in an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other, and uses a 9/125 µm core-cladding geometry for compatibility with standard singlemode equipment.

Advantages

Ceramic ferrules in the LC and SC connectors provide low signal loss and consistent optical performance. The singlemode OS2 fibre offers improved transmission over long distances compared with multimode alternatives. The 3 m length balances reach and manageability for rack-to-rack or patch panel connections.

Suitable for

• Telecommunications links
• High-speed data centre connections
• Patch panels and fibre distribution frames
• Long-distance singlemode optical links

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Connector A: LC
• Connector B: SC
• Fibre type: OS2 (singlemode)
• Core/cladding: 9/125 µm
• MPN: 47472

How to use

Route the fibre cable between the required LC and SC ports, avoiding tight bends and keeping bend radius within manufacturer guidelines. Insert the LC connector into the LC port and the SC connector into the SC adapter or transceiver until they click or seat securely. Use appropriate strain relief and cable management in racks or enclosures to prevent stress on the connectors.

Recommendations

Inspect connector endfaces before installation and clean with approved fibre cleaning tools if contamination is visible. Store unused connectors with dust caps in place. For optimal performance, follow standard singlemode handling and testing procedures such as optical power and insertion loss measurements.
