LogiLink cavo patch in fibra ottica multimodale OM4 LC/LC duplex, 75m, LSZH, acqua

In a busy data center, a network engineer needs a reliable link between a high-speed switch and a server 75 meters away. This LogiLink OM4 fiber patch cable delivers exactly that: a duplex LC-to-LC connection engineered for 40G and 100G Ethernet over multimode fiber. Its aqua LSZH jacket stands out in cable trays while meeting strict fire safety codes.

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM4 multimode, 50/125 µm core/cladding
• Connectors: LC to LC, duplex, ceramic ferrules
• Length: 75 meters
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), aqua
• Insertion loss: < 0.3 dB; return loss: > 30 dB
• Supports 10G (up to 550m), 40G (up to 350m), 100G (up to 150m)
• Polarity: A-B (cross-over)
• Standards: IEC 60793-2-10 Type A1a.3, TIA/EIA-492AAAD
• Operating temperature: -20°C to 70°C

Why choose it

OM4 fiber is the sweet spot for modern data centers, offering headroom for future upgrades without the cost of single-mode. The ceramic ferrule connectors ensure precise alignment and low loss, while the LSZH jacket emits minimal smoke and toxic fumes in case of fire—essential for enclosed spaces. The aqua color instantly identifies it as OM4, preventing mix-ups with older OM3 or OM2 cables.

Ideal use cases

• Data center backbone links between switches and patch panels
• High-speed server connections in enterprise networks
• Storage area networks (SAN) requiring 40G/100G throughput
• Long-distance runs within a building where copper can't reach

Good to know

This cable is duplex, meaning it has two fibers in one jacket—perfect for bidirectional communication. The A-B polarity ensures proper transmit/receive alignment when connecting equipment. With LSZH jacketing, it complies with stringent fire safety regulations in public and commercial buildings.
