Nastro adesivo Tesa 4965 50 mm x 50 m

Tesa 4965 50 mm x 50 m is a red pressure-sensitive tape manufactured from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS). With a 50 mm width and a 50 m roll length, this tape combines high tack adhesive performance with a durable ABS carrier that resists tearing and provides stable handling during application. The product is designed for general-purpose fixing, bundling and light repair work where a visible, coloured tape and reliable adhesion are required.

Advantages

The ABS carrier gives the tape good tensile strength and tear resistance while maintaining a flat and consistent backing for smooth unwinding. The pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures immediate initial tack and secure bonding to common surfaces such as cardboard, painted wood, plastics and metal. The red colour improves visibility for marking and identification. The combination of carrier and adhesive makes the tape suitable for indoor and short-term outdoor use where mechanical durability and clear appearance are important.

Suitable for

• Sealing and bundling packages and materials
• Temporary repairs on plastic, metal and painted surfaces
• Marking areas or items that require high visibility
• General workshop and maintenance tasks

Key specifications

• Material: ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) carrier
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Width: 50 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Colour: red
• Pack quantity: 1 roll

How to use

Ensure the application surface is clean, dry and free of dust, grease or loose particles for optimal adhesion. Cut or tear the required tape length from the roll and apply with firm pressure to the substrate to activate the adhesive. For bundling or wrapping, overlap ends to secure the joint. When used outdoors, limit exposure to prolonged UV and extreme weather conditions to maintain performance.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and temperatures outside the recommended storage range to preserve adhesive properties. Before critical applications, test adhesion on a small area of the intended surface. For permanent or heavy-duty outdoor sealing, consider specialised tapes designed for long-term environmental exposure.
