Nastro in tessuto carta TESA 4651

tesa® 4651 is a robust, acrylic-coated cloth tape designed for a range of indoor and outdoor applications. It has a 145-mesh woven rayon fabric backing with a natural rubber adhesive and is available in a paper-lined jumbo-roll version (tesa® 4651 PV9). The product offered here is 19 mm wide and 25 m long, with a yellow fabric surface suitable for covering, labeling, and masking operations.

Advantages

The woven rayon backing provides good tear resistance and dimensional stability while the acrylic coating enhances weather resistance. Natural rubber adhesive ensures reliable initial tack and adhesion to a variety of surfaces. The combination of tensile strength (100 N/mm²) and 13% elongation at break delivers a balance between strength and flexibility for secure application.

Suitable for

• Masking and surface protection during painting and renovation
• Labeling and bundling in workshops and warehouses
• Temporary fastening and repairs on various substrates

How to use

Clean and dry the surface before applying the tape to ensure optimal adhesion. Cut or tear the required length, press the tape firmly onto the substrate and smooth out any air pockets. For masking during painting, apply the tape along the edge and remove shortly after paint has dried to the touch to avoid residue.

Recommendations

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Test adhesion on a small area if using on delicate or painted surfaces. For large-scale or long-term outdoor use consider the paper-lined jumbo-roll variant (tesa® 4651 PV9).
