Nastro in tessuto Tesa 4651 Premium 50 mm x 25 m, bianco, rivestito in plastica, mesh 148

Tesa Fabric Tape 4651 Premium 50 mm x 25 m is a white plastic-coated cloth tape with an open mesh of 148 threads. It combines a flexible fabric backing and a protective plastic coating to deliver tear resistance and reduced moisture absorption. The tape is designed for masking, bundling and temporary surface protection in professional painting, HVAC installations and general repair work, offering conformability on irregular surfaces and reliable adhesion on a variety of substrates.

Advantages

The tape's plastic-coated cloth backing improves durability and resists fraying while maintaining flexibility for curved and uneven surfaces. The 148 mesh weave provides good tensile strength and allows the tape to conform without excessive stretch. The white coating reduces visible bleeding of adhesive and offers basic moisture protection. Tesa 4651 Premium adheres reliably to painted and unpainted surfaces and can be removed cleanly from most substrates within a limited time frame when used as intended.

Suitable for

• Masking during painting and varnishing
• Bundling cables, pipes and lightweight components
• Temporary surface protection on trim and fixtures
• HVAC sealing and fixing of insulation materials
• General repair, maintenance and workshop tasks

Key specifications

• Color: white
• Backing material: cloth with plastic coating
• Width: 50 mm
• Length: 25 m
• Mesh/open weave: 148 threads
• Properties: tear resistant, conformable, moisture resistant coating

How to use

Clean and dry the surface before application to ensure best adhesion. Unroll the required length and apply the tape with light pressure, smoothing out any air pockets and ensuring full contact with the substrate. For curved edges or corners, stretch minimally and press firmly to conform the tape to the shape. To remove, pull the tape back slowly at a low angle; removal time and temperature may affect residue, so test on an inconspicuous area if needed.

Recommendations

Use Tesa Fabric Tape 4651 Premium at moderate temperatures and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme humidity to minimize adhesive transfer. For delicate or freshly painted surfaces, perform a short adhesion test to confirm clean removability. Store rolls in a cool, dry place to maintain adhesive performance.
