Nastro per segnaletica in PVC 3M 766i, 33 m × 50 mm, nero/giallo

PVC marking tape 3M 766i, 33 m × 50 mm, black/yellow is a two-color identification tape designed for high-contrast marking of cables, pipes, equipment and hazard zones. The 50 mm width provides clear visibility while the 33 m roll length allows multiple applications before replacement. The tape is made from PVC with a pressure-sensitive adhesive suitable for temporary to semi-permanent identification in industrial, electrical and maintenance settings.

Advantages

The PVC construction offers flexibility and tear resistance for application on curved or uneven surfaces. High-contrast black on yellow printing improves legibility at short to medium distances. The pressure-sensitive adhesive provides reliable initial tack and good holding power on clean, dry surfaces, while the tape remains removable without aggressive residue under typical use conditions. The roll format and standard width make the tape compatible with manual application by hand or with common tape dispensers.

Suitable for

• Identification of cables and wiring runs
• Marking pipes and valves in plant facilities
• Temporary hazard and safety zone marking
• Equipment and panel labeling during maintenance
• Color coding for short-term installations

Key specifications

• Material: PVC backing with pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Color: black printing on yellow background (two-color)
• Width: 50 mm
• Length: 33 m per roll
• Backing thickness: flexible film suited for curved surfaces
• Adhesion: designed for good initial tack to clean, dry surfaces
• Durability: suitable for temporary to semi-permanent indoor use

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of oil or dust before application. Measure and cut the required length, then apply the tape by pressing firmly to ensure full contact of the adhesive with the substrate. For curved or irregular surfaces, smooth the tape progressively from one end to the other to avoid air pockets. Replace the roll when adhesive performance or legibility declines.

Recommendations

For best results, apply at room temperature on surfaces above the dew point and avoid stretching the tape during application. Use manual dispensers or scissors for neat edges. If the tape is used outdoors or in prolonged UV exposure, inspect periodically and replace when fading or adhesive loss is observed.
