Nastro TESA StopWater bianco

tesa StopWater Tape is an ultra-thin, non-adhesive PTFE tape designed to permanently seal leaking screw-type pipe and hose connections. Made from deformable, water-impermeable material, the tape creates a reliable seal on threads for applications up to 6 bar. It is supplied in a compact blister pack and is suitable for common household plumbing repairs such as shower heads, washing machine and dishwasher water inlets, and other threaded fittings.

Advantages

The tape is non-adhesive and white, offering an air- and watertight seal when wrapped around screw threads. Its high deformability allows it to fill irregularities between threads, and it withstands water pressure up to 6 bar. The product is quick and simple to use for permanent leak repairs without needing to replace hoses or fittings.

Suitable for

• Sealing shower heads and taps
• Fresh water connections for washing machines and dishwashers
• Threaded pipe and hose connections under sinks and basins
• Quick on-site repairs of leaking screw fittings up to 6 bar

The tape will deform into thread gaps and form a watertight seal suitable for pressures up to 6 bar.

Recommendations

For best results, apply the tape to dry, clean threads and use sufficient overlap to fill gaps; avoid using adhesive or additional sealants together with the non-adhesive PTFE tape. Not intended for pressurized gas applications unless specified by local regulations.
