Pressacavo DeLOCK 60196 nero plastica 10 pz.

The DeLOCK 60196 cable gland is a set of ten black plastic glands designed to provide a secure and tidy cable entry and exit point in enclosures, panels and equipment housings. Made from durable plastic with a black finish, this pack supplies multiple glands for small installation projects or maintenance tasks where protection against dust and moisture is required. The design supports straightforward fitting and reliable cable strain relief for a variety of cable diameters within a specific range.

Advantages

The cable gland set offers a practical combination of durability and simplicity: the plastic material resists corrosion and is lightweight, while the black colour provides a discreet appearance in most installations. Supplied as a pack of 10, it is convenient for multi-point installations or for keeping spare parts on hand. The glands are engineered to give basic protection against dust and moisture entry and to reduce mechanical strain on connected cables.

Suitable for

• Routing and protecting power or signal cables through panels and enclosures
• Small electrical installations in equipment cabinets and control boxes
• Maintenance and repair tasks requiring replacement or additional cable entry points
• Industrial, commercial or hobby projects where simple strain relief and dust protection are needed

Key specifications

• Material: plastic (black finish)
• Package quantity: 10 pieces
• Function: cable entry, strain relief and basic protection against dust and moisture
• Appearance: black colour suitable for discreet installations

How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriately sized hole in the panel or enclosure where the cable is to pass through. Insert the gland body into the hole and secure it according to the enclosure’s fastening method (press-fit, threaded nut or snap-in as applicable). Pass the cable through the gland and tighten the gland components if present to provide a snug fit and strain relief. Ensure that the cable diameter is compatible with the gland to achieve effective dust and moisture protection. Check the connection after installation to confirm that the cable is held firmly and that the seal is continuous around the entry point.

Recommendations

For best performance, select a gland that matches the cable diameter and the enclosure hole size. Avoid excessive tightening that could damage the cable insulation, and replace glands that show wear or cracking. For applications requiring defined IP protection levels or chemical resistance, verify material compatibility and consider using specialised glands rated for those environments.
