How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriately sized opening in the housing where the gland will be mounted. Insert the cable gland so the integrated seal sits between the gland and the housing wall to achieve a watertight fit. Pass up to two round cables or an electrical tube through the gland and tighten any locking nut or cap following the mechanical fitment provided by the enclosure to compress the seal. Verify the seal seating and cable routing before final assembly.

Recommendations

For reliable IP68 performance, ensure mating surfaces are clean and undamaged and use the gland within its specified mechanical limits. Check compatibility of cable diameters and conduit sizes with the gland opening before installation.
