Prolunga PSSO 16 A CEE 5x2,5 mm² 10 m nero Edition

The Extension Cable PSSO 16A CEE 5x2.5 mm² 10 m Black Edition is a heavy-duty power cable designed for safe and reliable distribution of electricity in industrial, construction and temporary installation environments. With a CEE plug and five conductors of 2.5 mm² cross-section, this 10-metre cable supports 16 A applications and is finished in a durable Black Edition design. It is intended for connecting three-phase equipment, sockets with earth/neutral conductors and control circuits where a flexible, rugged cable is required.

Advantages

This extension cable combines a robust conductor size with a five-core configuration to deliver stable current for three-phase systems and equipment requiring earth and neutral connections. The 2.5 mm² conductors provide a balance between flexibility and current-carrying capacity while the 10 m length offers practical reach on sites and in workshops. The Black Edition finish enhances resistance to visible soiling and fits professional environments where appearance and durability matter.

How to use

Inspect the cable and connectors for any visible damage before each use. Connect the CEE plug to a compatible CEE socket ensuring correct alignment and secure seating. Verify that the supply and the connected equipment are rated for 16 A and that the installation meets local electrical regulations. Route the cable to avoid sharp edges, heat sources and tripping hazards; secure with appropriate clips or cable protectors when used in public or high-traffic areas. After use, store the cable coiled in a dry place away from direct sunlight and chemicals that could degrade the insulation.

Recommendations

Use the extension cable only with equipment and protective devices matched to its rated current. For outdoor or wet environments, pair the cable with suitable IP-rated enclosures or socket covers and ensure residual-current protection is in place for additional safety.
