Renkforce RF-5047494 cavo patch CAT 6a S/FTP, RJ45, 0,5 m, grigio, protezione linguetta, ignifugo

In a busy office, a network engineer replaces a damaged patch cord between a workstation and a wall outlet. The Renkforce RF-5047494 CAT 6a S/FTP patch cable ensures a stable 10 Gigabit link, even in an environment crowded with electromagnetic interference from power lines and servers. Its grey jacket blends into the cable management, and the latch protection prevents accidental disconnections when moving equipment.

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 6a, backward compatible with Cat 6, Cat 5e, Cat 5
• Shielding: S/FTP (PiMF) – foil around each pair plus overall braid for superior noise immunity
• Length: 0.5 m – ideal for short, tidy connections
• Connectors: RJ45 male to RJ45 male, 8P8C, with latch protection
• Conductor: Stranded copper, 4 twisted pairs (8 wires), TIA/EIA 568B wiring
• Performance: Up to 10 Gbit/s data rate, 500 MHz bandwidth
• Jacket: Flame retardant, grey colour

Why choose it

This cable is built for high-density environments where signal integrity and safety matter. The S/FTP shielding minimizes alien crosstalk, making it suitable for 10GBASE-T networks. The latch protection on the RJ45 plugs prevents the retaining clip from snagging or breaking, a common failure point in frequent patching. The flame-retardant jacket adds an extra layer of safety in office or industrial settings.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting servers to switches in data centres or wiring closets
• Linking high-performance workstations to network outlets
• Short patch connections in patch panels and network cabinets
• Use in areas with high electromagnetic interference, such as near machinery or power lines

Good to know

The cable is fully backward compatible, so it works seamlessly with existing Gigabit or Fast Ethernet equipment. Its 0.5 m length reduces clutter and improves airflow in racks. The grey colour is unobtrusive and matches most network equipment. Each cable is individually packaged and ready for immediate deployment.
