ROLINE cavo patch Cat.6 S/FTP PiMF, PoE, arancione, 7 m 21.51.1377

Network administrators and IT technicians often need a reliable cable for connecting workstations, switches, and PoE-powered devices in office and industrial environments. The ROLINE Cat.6 S/FTP PiMF Patch Cable delivers stable Gigabit Ethernet performance with robust shielding, making it a dependable choice for high-density installations where electromagnetic interference is a concern.

Key specifications

• Category 6 (Class E) performance with bandwidth up to 250 MHz
• S/FTP shielding with PiMF (pairs in metal foil) for superior EMI protection
• Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for devices like IP cameras and VoIP phones
• Data transfer rate up to 1 Gbps (10/100/1000Base-T)
• Snagless RJ45 connectors with stranded copper conductors (AWG 27/7)
• Length: 7 m, colour: orange, PVC jacket

Why choose it

This patch cable is engineered to maintain signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. The S/FTP construction with individually shielded pairs and an overall braid reduces crosstalk and external interference, ensuring reliable connections for critical applications. The orange jacket provides high visibility, simplifying cable management and identification in crowded racks or cable trays.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting PoE devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones
• Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices, data centres, and industrial settings
• Structured cabling systems requiring Cat.6 performance with enhanced shielding
• Areas with high electromagnetic interference from machinery or power lines

Good to know

The cable meets TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1 wiring standards and is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 networks. Its stranded conductors provide flexibility for frequent patching, while the snagless boots protect the locking tabs from damage. With a length of 7 metres, it offers ample reach for most workstation and rack connections.
