ROLINE Cavo patch Cat.6 UTP, PoE, grigio, 0,5 m (21.51.0930)

Connecting a PoE-powered IP camera or wireless access point in a tight space? This 0.5-metre grey patch cable from ROLINE delivers reliable Gigabit Ethernet and Power over Ethernet in a compact, unshielded design. It’s the practical choice for short, neat links between a patch panel and a switch, or from a wall outlet to a desktop device.

Key specifications

• Category 6 (Class E) performance, tested to 250 MHz
• Unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction with 4 pairs of stranded copper conductors
• Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for data and power over one cable
• Data transfer rates up to 1 Gbps (1000BASE-T)
• RJ45 male connectors on both ends, wired to TIA/EIA 568B
• Durable grey PVC jacket, length 0.5 m
• Compliant with RoHS directives

Why choose it

This patch cable balances performance and flexibility. The stranded copper conductors make it easy to route in tight spaces without signal loss, while the U/UTP design keeps it lightweight and cost-effective for indoor use. The grey colour blends into most office and industrial environments, and the moulded strain relief protects the connectors from daily handling.

Ideal use cases

• Short connections in server racks and network cabinets
• Linking PoE devices such as IP phones, cameras, and access points
• Desktop connections from wall outlets to computers or printers
• Temporary setups in labs, classrooms, or event spaces

Good to know

This cable is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 networks, so it works with existing infrastructure. For best performance, keep the cable away from sources of electromagnetic interference, as it is unshielded. The 0.5 m length reduces clutter and is ideal for high-density patching where longer cables would create tangles.
