Rotolo di pellicola per sottovuoto Severin ZU 3608

The Vacuum sealer roll Severin ZU 3608 is a flexible packaging accessory designed for use with compatible household vacuum sealers, including models that accept FS 3604-type rolls. The roll measures 10 meters in length and 28.5 cm in width, providing a continuous supply of sealing material for food preservation, sous-vide cooking, and general storage needs. Constructed to create an effective barrier against air and moisture, the roll helps extend shelf life and protect flavors and textures of perishable items.

Advantages

The roll offers a combination of convenience and durability: a long 10 m length reduces the need for frequent replacements, and the 28.5 cm width accommodates larger portions and multiple items in a single bag. Material composition is suitable for vacuum sealing processes, forming reliable seals that minimize air ingress. Its compatibility with common home sealer models simplifies purchasing and use, while the continuous roll format allows custom bag sizes to match different food portions and storage containers.

Suitable for

• Vacuum sealing meat, fish, poultry, and vegetables for freezer storage
• Preparing bags for sous-vide and low-temperature cooking
• Portioning and meal prep for household or small-batch commercial use
• Protecting dry goods and delicate items from moisture and air exposure

Key specifications

• Roll length: 10 m
• Roll width: 28.5 cm
• Format: continuous roll for custom bag sizing
• Intended use: vacuum sealing and sous-vide compatible
• Material: vacuum-sealer compatible film that forms heat seals and provides barrier protection

How to use

Measure and cut a length from the roll according to the size of the items to be sealed, allowing extra space for sealing margins. Seal one end to create a closed bag if required, then insert the food or item and position the open edge in the vacuum sealer's sealing channel. Run a vacuum cycle followed by the heat seal according to the sealer manufacturer's instructions. For sous-vide cooking, ensure there are no wrinkles near the seal and that the bag is fully evacuated of air before immersion.

Recommendations

Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. For best performance, ensure the sealing surface is clean and dry, and follow the vacuum sealer's guidelines for bag placement and maintenance. When sealing liquids or wet foods, pre-freeze or use a controlled vacuum setting if available to avoid liquid being drawn into the sealer.
