Cavo di rete Dätwyler Cables 21.05.0510 grigio 1 m Cat6a S/FTP

The Dätwyler Cables 21.05.0510 Grey 1 m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a short, high-performance Ethernet lead designed for reliable wired connections. Constructed to Cat6a category specifications with S/FTP shielding, the cable supports high data rates while reducing crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and finished in a neutral grey jacket, it is suitable for patching, workstation connections, and short link runs within network racks and office environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP (S-STP) shielding combines an overall braided shield with individually foil-shielded pairs, improving signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Cat6a design extends bandwidth and supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances, while the 1 m length minimizes excess cable clutter. The cable's RJ-45 terminations provide universal compatibility with standard Ethernet ports and network equipment. The grey jacket offers a discreet appearance for office and server-room installations.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a performance
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid plus individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 1 m
• Color: Grey
• Supported applications: Ethernet up to 10 Gbps (typical for short runs)

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices, such as switches, patch panels, or networked computers. Avoid tight bends near the connector ends and do not stretch or kink the cable to maintain signal performance. For permanent installations in racks or conduits, route the cable to avoid sharp edges and secure it with appropriate cable management accessories.

Recommendations for use

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short, high-speed connections where shielding is required to reduce interference. For optimal 10 Gbps performance, keep the link length within recommended distances for Cat6a and ensure connectors and network equipment support the targeted data rates.
