Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O0360.1 1 m LC SC giallo

The EFB Elektronik O0360.1 1 m LC–SC fibre optic cable is a single-mode OS2 patch cable designed for point-to-point duplex connections. With a 9 µm core diameter and LC connector on one end paired with an SC connector on the other, this 1-metre yellow cable provides low attenuation and stable optical performance for backbone and equipment interconnects in telecommunication and data centre environments.

Advantages

This LC–SC fibre optic lead delivers reliable single-mode transmission with minimal signal loss and consistent insertion loss characteristics. The 1 m length offers compact routing between adjacent racks or equipment, while the yellow jacket follows standard colour coding for single-mode cabling to simplify identification during installation and maintenance. Connector endfaces are factory-terminated to ensure repeatable optical performance and quick plug-and-play deployment.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: single-mode OS2
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector A: LC (single-mode)
• Connector B: SC (single-mode)
• Duplex configuration: simplex cable with two fibers for full-duplex links
• Cable length: 1 m
• Jacket colour: yellow (single-mode standard)
• Typical use: patch cord for indoor data and telecom installations

How to use

Connect the LC end to the corresponding LC port and the SC end to the corresponding SC port on networking equipment or patch panels, observing correct transmit/receive pairing for duplex links. Avoid tight bends and maintain the cable bend radius recommended by the equipment manufacturer when routing inside racks or conduits. Ensure connector endfaces are clean before mating to prevent signal degradation; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools where necessary.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable to avoid kinks and repeated sharp bends; maintain minimum bend radius and protect connectors with dust caps when not in use. For permanent installations, verify link loss with an optical power meter or fibre tester after installation to confirm acceptable attenuation levels.
