Salewa Alp Trainer 2 GTX Scarpa da avvicinamento uomo Java Blue/Black UK 8.5 (EU 42.5)

The Salewa Alp Trainer 2 GTX stands apart from typical approach shoes by combining a precise climbing fit with the all-weather protection of GORE-TEX Extended Comfort. Built for alpine trekking and technical approaches, it offers a rare balance of sensitivity, support, and durability in a single package.

Highlights

• GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining for waterproof, breathable performance
• Vibram Alpine Hiking outsole for reliable grip on rock and trail
• Salewa 3F System for a secure, wrap-around fit
• Climbing lacing extends to the toe for precise adjustment
• Protective rubber rand and anti-rock heel cup for abrasion resistance
• Ortholite footbed for long-lasting cushioning and moisture management

In daily use

From scree fields to via ferrata, the Alp Trainer 2 GTX delivers confident footing and all-day comfort. The EVA midsole absorbs impact while the medium-stiffness sole provides enough sensitivity for edging and smearing. Adaptive eyelets reduce pressure points, and the 10 mm drop encourages a natural stride on approaches. The suede and coated fabric upper resists wear, while the stretch fabric zones allow freedom of movement.
