Scanner ADF Plustek eScan A280 Enterprise 600 x 600 DPI A4 nero, bianco

The Plustek eScan A280 Enterprise is an ADF scanner designed for office environments that require reliable, high-volume document capture. It supports a maximum scan size of 216 x 356 mm (up to A4) and delivers an optical scanning resolution of 600 x 600 DPI. The unit is equipped with a dual CIS sensor and duplex scanning capability, allowing both sides of a document to be captured in a single pass. With an auto document feeder capacity of up to 50 sheets and rated for up to 2,000 pages per day, the scanner is intended for continuous daily use where moderate throughput and consistent image quality are needed.

Advantages

The eScan A280 Enterprise combines a compact form factor with Ethernet and USB 2.0 connectivity, enabling direct networked scanning and integration into existing workflows. Built-in display controls simplify operation and destination selection, while the dual CIS sensor and 600 x 600 optical resolution produce clear results for text documents and common office media. The feeder accommodates a range of paper weights from 40 to 157 g/m², supporting thin receipts to heavier coated sheets without manual intervention.

Suitable for

• High-volume office document scanning and archiving
• Departmental scanning for shared network environments
• Digital mailrooms and front-desk capture
• Scanning of invoices, contracts, reports and mixed media batches

How to use

Place the Plustek eScan A280 Enterprise on a stable, level surface and connect it to a network via Ethernet or to a workstation using the USB 2.0 port. Use the built-in display to select scan settings and destination (for example, E-mail, FTP, SMB, or USB). Load up to 50 sheets into the auto document feeder, ensuring pages are aligned and within the supported media weight range. For duplex jobs, confirm duplex mode is enabled; for mixed media batches, choose appropriate image enhancement and feeding options via the scanner interface or bundled software before starting the scan.

Recommendations

For consistent results, use paper within the specified 40–157 g/m² range, fan and align stacks before loading, and avoid overfilling the feeder. Clean the CIS sensors and feed rollers periodically according to manufacturer instructions to maintain image quality and reduce jams. When integrating into network workflows, configure destination folders and user permissions to streamline scanned document routing.
