Scatola di distribuzione in fibra ottica DeLOCK 8 porte impermeabile bianco

The DeLOCK Fiber Optic Distribution Box 8 Port Waterproof White is a lockable wall-mount enclosure designed to protect and organise fiber optic cables and couplings. The compact housing accommodates up to eight SC Simplex or LC Duplex couplings and includes an integrated splice cassette for tidy routing of individual fibres. With IP65 dust and waterproof rating, two cable entries with glands and nine rubber-sealed cable outlets, the box is suitable for both indoor and outdoor feed-throughs and supports cable diameters up to 12 mm.

Advantages

The distribution box provides a lockable and secure housing for fibre terminations and couplings while the integrated splice tray allows mechanical and fusion splicing with organised fibre routing. IP65-rated glands and rubber seals ensure a watertight barrier for outdoor and indoor installations. Its compatibility with SC Simplex and LC Duplex couplings and the capacity for eight ports allow flexible network configuration in a compact footprint.

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a stable wall surface using appropriate fixings. Open the lockable cover to access the internal splice cassette and coupling area. Feed the fibre cables through the cable glands or sealed outlets, secure the cables with the glands, and route individual fibres into the integrated splice tray for mechanical or fusion splicing. Install SC Simplex or LC Duplex couplings into the front openings as required, organise excess fibre inside the cassette, and close the cover to secure the enclosure.

Recommendations

For long-term outdoor installations ensure glands are tightened correctly and seals are intact; use appropriate cable bend radii and protect fusion splices according to standard procedures. Verify compatibility of couplings (SC Simplex or LC Duplex) before installation and avoid over-tightening mounting screws to prevent damage to the housing.
