Allow the appliance to stand upright for a few hours after transport if it has been tilted. Connect to a properly grounded electrical outlet, set the temperature controls according to recommended settings for your region and load the fridge and freezer compartments with food items, arranging perishable goods on the shelves and vegetables in the drawer. Avoid overfilling to maintain air circulation and efficient cooling. Defrost and clean the freezer compartment periodically following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Recommendations

Maintain door seals and clean interior surfaces regularly to preserve cooling performance and energy efficiency. Store raw meats on lower shelves and keep ready-to-eat items on higher shelves to prevent cross-contamination. For optimal energy use, avoid placing hot food directly into the appliance and limit the frequency and duration of door openings.
