Tecline HD OM5 cavo patch in fibra ottica multimodale, SC duplex su SC duplex, 50/125 µm, verde lime, 3 m 796SS03

Data center technicians and network engineers rely on this Tecline HD patch cable for high-speed backbone connections in enterprise LANs and storage networks. The OM5 multimode fiber supports short-wavelength division multiplexing, enabling 40/100/200/400 Gigabit Ethernet over duplex links. Its lime green jacket provides instant identification of OM5 cabling in dense patching fields.

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM5 multimode, 50/125 µm core/cladding
• Connectors: SC Duplex to SC Duplex, UPC polish
• Length: 3.0 m
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), lime green
• Bandwidth: 4700 MHz·km at 850 nm, 2470 MHz·km at 953 nm
• Attenuation: ≤ 2.5 dB/km at 850 nm, ≤ 0.8 dB/km at 1300 nm
• Standards: TIA/EIA-568-C.3, ISO/IEC 11801

Why choose it

OM5 fiber is optimized for multi-wavelength transmission, reducing fiber count in high-density data centers. The LSZH jacket emits low smoke and no halogens in case of fire, improving safety in enclosed spaces. SC duplex connectors offer a push-pull latching mechanism for secure connections.

Ideal use cases

• 40/100/200/400 Gigabit Ethernet links in data centers
• Fibre Channel storage area networks
• High-performance computing clusters
• Backbone connections in enterprise LANs

Good to know

The lime green color is standardized for OM5 to prevent mixing with OM3/OM4. This cable is part of the Tecline HD series, designed for high-density patching environments.
