Mount the fiberglass rod on the stand and release the manual brake to unwind the rod smoothly. Insert the guiding head into the conduit or duct and push the rod forward while keeping moderate, steady pressure; the PE coating reduces friction for easier feeding. Once the guiding head reaches the target, attach the cable to the guiding head following appropriate connection methods, then pull the rod back to draw the cable through. Use the brake to lock the drum during pauses or transport.
