TP-Link Archer AX17 Router Wi-Fi Gigabit Ethernet Dualband (2,4 GHz / 5 GHz) nero

The TP-Link Archer AX17 tabletop router provides dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) connectivity with a combined maximum WLAN data rate of 1501 Mbit/s. Designed for homes and small offices, the router supports Gigabit Ethernet, four RJ-45 LAN ports, Ethernet WAN, and modern security algorithms including WPA3 to keep network traffic protected.

Advantages

Wi‑Fi 6 technology and OFDMA improve network efficiency, increasing average throughput and allowing more devices to connect without dragging overall performance. Beamforming and a stronger signal extend usable coverage to devices located farther from the router. Gigabit Ethernet ports and dual‑band operation ensure stable wired and wireless connections for latency‑sensitive tasks.

Suitable for

• Home users with multiple Wi‑Fi devices (smartphones, laptops, smart home appliances)
• Small office environments requiring stable wireless and wired connections
• Online gaming and live streaming that demand low latency and steady throughput
• Guest networking and parental control scenarios

How to use

Place the tabletop router in a central, elevated location for best wireless coverage and connect the modem to the Ethernet WAN port. Power the device, then follow the intuitive web UI or the TP‑Link Tether mobile app (Android / iOS) to complete initial setup, configure SSIDs for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, set a secure password, and enable guest network or parental controls if required. Use the WPS button for quick WPA encryption pairing with compatible devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep firmware up to date, avoid placing the router near large metal objects or appliances that cause interference, and use the 5 GHz band for high‑bandwidth activities while reserving 2.4 GHz for longer‑range or legacy devices.
