How to use

Select the appropriate drill bit and insert it into the keyless Futuro top chuck, then use the spindle stop if required to lock the spindle for tightening. Set the two-speed gearbox and adjust the Vario (V)-Electronics thumbwheel to the desired speed for the material. Use forward rotation for drilling and reverse rotation for removing the bit or clearing debris. Apply steady pressure without forcing the drill and allow the motor to work at the selected speed. Change bits one-handed by stopping the spindle and opening the keyless chuck.

Recommendations

For best results when drilling metal, select lower speeds and use appropriate cutting lubricants. Wear suitable personal protective equipment (eye and hand protection) and secure the workpiece before drilling.
