Wentronic Goobay 59585 Cavo patch in fibra ottica LC/APC a LC/APC single-mode OS2, 2 m, bianco, LSZH

For FTTH installations where a reliable, low-loss connection is non-negotiable, the Goobay 59585 delivers a 2-metre single-mode OS2 patch cable with LC/APC connectors on both ends. The angled polish (APC) minimises back reflections, making it ideal for high-speed fibre-to-the-home networks, data centres, and telecom applications. The white LSZH jacket ensures safety in enclosed spaces, while the bend-insensitive fibre (G.657.A1/A2 compatible) allows tight routing without signal degradation.

Highlights

• LC/APC to LC/APC connectors for secure, low-return-loss connections
• Single-mode OS2 fibre, 9/125 µm, supports 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths
• Bend-insensitive design with a minimum bend radius of just 10 mm
• LSZH jacket: low smoke, zero halogen, flame-retardant
• Typical insertion loss ≤ 0.3 dB, return loss ≥ 60 dB
• 2-metre length, ideal for patching in distribution frames or ONTs

In daily use

This patch cable is engineered for permanent installations where performance and safety matter. The APC polish reduces reflections that can interfere with high-speed signals, ensuring stable connections for GPON, XGS-PON, and other fibre services. The white jacket blends into residential or office environments, and the LSZH material means it won't emit toxic fumes in the event of a fire. The 3 mm diameter cable is robust yet flexible, and the bend-insensitive fibre allows it to be routed around corners without worrying about microbending losses. Whether you're connecting an ONT to a wall outlet or patching between equipment in a data centre, this cable provides consistent, low-latency performance.
