Fiber patch cable duplex SC - ST, 10 m, yellow, with two 3 mm cores and 9/125 µm singlemode fibres. The cable features SC and ST connectors and a PVC sheath, designed for high-quality singlemode signal transmission over typical patching distances.

Advantages

The duplex SC - ST fiber patch cable provides reliable singlemode connectivity with matched 9/125 µm cores, a flexible 2 x 3 mm diameter construction and a visible yellow jacket for easy identification. SC and ST connectors offer broad compatibility with networking equipment. The PVC sheath delivers basic mechanical protection and handling convenience for rack and cabinet installations.

Suitable for

• Short to medium singlemode patching runs in data centres
• Telecommunications equipment interconnections
• Lab and test bench fiber connections

How to use

Route the duplex cable between devices or patch panels, ensuring connectors match the required ports (SC to SC or SC to ST as appropriate). Avoid sharp bends and secure the cable to prevent strain on connectors. When inserting connectors, align the keyed SC and bayonet ST fittings and push until they lock or click into place. For removal, release any latches or rotate the ST connector as needed and pull straight out.

Recommendations

Use this PVC-sheathed duplex fiber patch cable for indoor patching where standard mechanical protection is sufficient; for installations requiring low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) or higher flame resistance, select an alternative cable with the appropriate sheath material.
