ACT giallo 5 metri LSZH U/FTP CAT6A cavo patch Slimline per data center snagless con connettori RJ45

The ACT Yellow 5 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A patch cable is a slimline data center Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission. It has U/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, RJ-45 connectors with gold plating for reliable contact, and a reduced outer diameter (3.8 mm) compared with standard CAT6A patch cords. The slim profile and smaller bending radius improve cable routing and airflow inside server cabinets.

Advantages

The slim 3.8 mm diameter lowers bundle volume and allows denser routing in cabinets while maintaining CAT6A performance. U/FTP shielding provides improved protection against crosstalk and external noise. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable connections and corrosion resistance. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire, suitable for data center environments.

Suitable for

• Data center patching and high-density racks
• Server cabinets and horizontal cable management where space and airflow matter
• High-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within structured cabling

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/FTP CAT6A slimline
• Length: 5 m
• Outer diameter: 3.8 mm (slimline)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Install the patch cable between network equipment using the RJ-45 connectors on each end. Route the slimline cable through cabinet pathways and cable management channels to maximise airflow. Avoid sharp bends beyond the cable's recommended bending radius and do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended permanent link length for 32 AWG patch cords to keep signal attenuation within acceptable limits.

Recommendations

Avoid bundling more than 24 slimline cables in a single PoE-loaded bundle; ACT advises a maximum bundle size of 24 in PoE applications to limit temperature rise. Because 32 AWG conductors increase attenuation at higher frequencies, use shorter permanent link lengths compared with standard 24 AWG patch cords to ensure link performance.
