Adattatore ShiverPeaks 71220-8W — maximum connectivity connettore femmina Western 8/8

Adapter ShiverPeaks 71220-8W — maximum connectivity 8/8 Western coupling is an interface component designed to join two Western (RJ-type) terminated cables or modules with an 8/8 contact configuration. The adapter provides a compact, inline connection for audio, signal or low-voltage circuits where reliable eight-conductor continuity is required. Its simple form factor suits installations, repairs and modular setups that need a straightforward way to extend or bridge Western-terminated wiring.

Advantages

The adapter offers a compact and standardized connection method for eight-conductor Western terminations, enabling quick inline joins without soldering or crimping. Its design supports straightforward insertion and removal of cables, reducing installation time and minimizing the need for additional tools. The product is compatible with common 8/8 RJ-style connectors and maintains physical alignment and contact continuity for low-voltage audio and signal applications.

Suitable for

• Extending or bridging telephone and audio cables with Western/RJ-style terminations
• Temporary or permanent joins in low-voltage signal installations
• Repairing damaged connectors or replacing short cable runs
• Modular setups and test rigs where quick connector changes are required

Key specifications

• Contact configuration: 8 conductors (8/8 continuity)
• Connector type: Western/RJ-compatible coupling for 8-pin terminations
• Application voltage: suitable for low-voltage audio and signal circuits
• Physical format: compact inline adapter for male-to-female coupling
• Color: white (housing)

How to use

Align the Western/RJ-style connector of the first cable with one side of the adapter and insert until it clicks or seats fully, then repeat with the second cable on the opposite side. Verify that all eight conductors make contact by checking signal continuity or device functionality. For removal, depress the connector latch (if present) and gently pull the plug straight out to avoid damaging contacts. Ensure power to connected low-voltage circuits is turned off before connecting or disconnecting.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the adapter in dry, indoor environments and avoid exposing it to moisture, excessive dust or mechanical strain. Confirm compatibility with the specific RJ-style plug variant in your setup and perform a continuity check after installation. Do not use the adapter for mains voltage or applications outside the intended low-voltage signal and audio range.
