Armadio elettrico Rittal AX 1280 000 — armadio in acciaio 800×300×1200 mm, IP66

Rittal AX 1280 000 is a steel electrical enclosure designed to protect control equipment and switchgear in demanding indoor and outdoor industrial environments. With external dimensions of 800 × 300 × 1200 mm and an IP66 protection rating, the cabinet provides dust-tight and water-resistant housing for PLCs, terminal blocks and cable entries. The enclosure is built for stable mechanical protection and reliable environmental sealing where robust protection against dust and powerful water jets is required.

Advantages

The steel construction offers mechanical strength and dimensional stability for mounting electrical components and devices. IP66 protection ensures full protection against dust ingress and protection from heavy sprays of water, making the cabinet suitable for washdown areas and exposed installations. The design supports standard mounting rails and internal accessories for organized installation of control systems. Corrosion-resistant surface treatment increases durability in industrial atmospheres.

How to use

Place the enclosure on a stable, level surface or mount it to a suitable structure following applicable installation standards. Install internal mounting rails, DIN rails or panels as required to support PLCs, terminal blocks and other control devices. Route cables through designated cable entry points or gland plates and ensure sealing elements are fitted to maintain IP66 protection. Secure the door and locking mechanism after wiring and verify the enclosure is correctly earthed according to local electrical codes.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, use compatible mounting accessories and cable glands rated for IP66 to preserve the enclosure’s environmental protection. Perform periodic inspections of seals and fasteners, especially in outdoor or washdown environments, and follow manufacturer guidance for surface treatment maintenance.
