BlueOptics CAB-SMF-LC-SC-7-BO cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 7,5 m 2x LC

The BlueOptics CAB-SMF-LC-SC-7-BO is a 7.5 m InfiniBand single-mode fibre optic cable with dual LC connectors designed for high-speed, full-duplex data transmission. Using G.657.A1 optical fibre with a 9 µm core diameter, this cable supports low-loss, low-bend sensitivity performance suitable for application in data centres and high-density networking installations. The cable’s length and connector configuration make it compatible with InfiniBand systems and other networking equipment that require LC terminations.

Advantages

This cable combines single-mode G.657.A1 fibre characteristics — including improved bend tolerance and low attenuation — with LC connector precision to deliver reliable signal integrity over a 7.5 m route. Its dual LC configuration enables full-duplex communication and easy patching in racks and panels. The cable is suitable for confined routing spaces where reduced bend sensitivity improves long-term stability and reduces the risk of signal loss.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand interconnects in compute clusters and storage networks
• Data centre patching and equipment interlinks requiring LC terminations
• High-density rack and panel installations with constrained routing
• Longer horizontal or vertical links where 7.5 m cable length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Fibre type: single-mode G.657.A1
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: 2x LC (duplex) to SC (as applicable at the remote end)
• Transmission: full duplex

How to use

Route the cable between devices ensuring bend radii meet G.657.A1 recommendations to maintain low attenuation. Insert LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports and secure any SC terminations in compatible receptacles or adapters as required. Verify full-duplex links in the InfiniBand or network equipment management interfaces and perform optical loss checks if required to confirm signal integrity after installation.

Recommendations

Handle connectors by the boot or housing, keep end faces clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools, and avoid tight bends or crush stress. For rack installations, use cable management to prevent sharp bends and label both ends for easy identification during maintenance.
