BlueOptics cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 15m LC connettore-connettore

The BlueOptics InfiniBand Fibre Optic Cable 15m LC Male-Male is a single‑mode patch cable engineered for high‑speed optical data transmission over a 15‑meter distance. Fitted with LC male connectors on both ends, the cable is intended for use in structured networks, server racks and data center patch panels where low attenuation and compact connector form factors are required. The construction follows industry single‑mode fiber practices to ensure reliable performance and stable signal quality for InfiniBand and other optical interconnects.

Advantages

This 15 m LC‑to‑LC cable provides compatibility with standard LC ports while minimising insertion loss and return loss typical for quality single‑mode links. The compact LC male connectors allow high‑density port deployment. The cable length gives flexibility for mid‑range connections inside racks or between nearby racks without the need for excess slack. Components are selected to meet typical durability and repeatability expectations for fibre patching applications.

How to use

Inspect connector ends and fiber ports for contamination before mating. Align each LC connector to the corresponding LC receptacle on transceivers, patch panels or networking devices and push until a tactile click confirms engagement. Avoid sharp bends and secure the cable along its run using appropriate cable management to maintain the specified minimum bend radius. When disconnecting, depress the LC latch and pull straight out without twisting to avoid stressing the ferrule and fiber.

Recommendations

For best optical performance, keep connectors capped when not in use, clean end‑faces with approved fiber cleaning tools prior to connection, and route the cable to prevent tight bends or pinch points. Periodically inspect and clean connectors if devices are reconnected frequently.
