BlueOptics X66260-1-BO cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 1 m LC giallo

The BlueOptics X66260-1-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1 m LC Yellow is a 1‑metre single‑mode patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and G.657.A1 fibre. Designed for full‑duplex optical links, this cable supports high‑speed data transmission in data centers, server rooms and networking racks. The cable features a yellow LSZH outer jacket for easy identification and reduced smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire.

Advantages

This InfiniBand fibre optic cable provides low attenuation and high return loss suitable for demanding optical connections. Built with laser‑optimized G.657.A1 single‑mode fibre and ceramic ferrule LC connectors, the cable is manufactured to meet common industrial standards and is tested with interferometer and OTDR to provide documented input loss and return loss values. The LSZH sheath reduces toxic emissions and the construction supports up to high mating cycles for long service life.

How to use

Inspect both LC connector endfaces for dirt or damage before installation and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and secure it in cable management trays to maintain minimum bend radius required for G.657.A1 fibre. Insert LC connectors into corresponding LC ports on transceivers, patch panels or switches until they click into place, ensuring the correct orientation for duplex links. After installation, verify link quality using suitable optical loss or certification equipment if required.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable following standard fibre‑optic procedures: avoid tight bends, tensile stress, and contamination of connector endfaces. Use LC dust caps during storage and carry out connector inspection and cleaning prior to mating to ensure reliable, low‑loss connections.
