Cavo di rete METZ CONNECT 142M2X55050 verde 5 m Cat6a

The METZ CONNECT 142M2X55050 Green 5 m Cat6a networking cable is a shielded Ethernet lead designed for high-speed data transmission in structured networks. With an RJ-45 connector on each end and a 5 metre length, this green Cat6a cable supports increased bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower category cables, making it suitable for demanding cabling runs in office and home environments.

Advantages

This Cat6a cable provides support for higher data rates and improved signal integrity over longer distances compared with Cat5e and Cat6 options. The RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard network ports, while the cable’s construction reduces interference to maintain stable connections. Its 5 m length offers flexibility for mid-range connections, and the green jacket allows easy visual identification in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers in offices and homes
• High-speed LAN links for VoIP, video conferencing and streaming
• Structured cabling where Cat6a performance and clear cable identification are required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (supporting higher bandwidth and reduced crosstalk)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 5 metres
• Color: green for easy identification
• Intended use: Ethernet networking for data, voice and video applications

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device (PC, switch, router or modem) and insert the other connector into the corresponding port on the networked device. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it separated from mains power cables where possible to minimise interference. For rack or patch panel installations, use cable management accessories to maintain orderly runs and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6a cable within its specified length and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs are compromised. Choose the green color to simplify identification in multi-cable environments.
