Cavo di rete shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 0,5 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable is a 0.5m U/FTP (STP) Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for short-range connections between network devices, this cable supports high-speed data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference thanks to its foil-shielded pairs and overall shielding. The black finish is unobtrusive and suitable for visible or concealed cable runs in home and office environments.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference through individually foil-shielded twisted pairs and an overall shield, enabling more stable connections in electrically noisy environments. The short 0.5m length reduces excess cable clutter and signal attenuation for direct connections between nearby devices. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with a wide range of routers, switches, network cards, and other Ethernet-enabled equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or console to a router or switch across short distances
• Linking network devices within an AV rack or desktop setup
• High-bandwidth tasks such as online gaming and 4K streaming
• Temporary test and patch connections in home or small office networks

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding type: U/FTP (individual pair foil + overall shield)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 0.5 m
• Color: Black
• Conductor: stranded or solid copper (check packaging for conductor type)

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until a click confirms a secure connection. For best performance, use the cable for direct, short-distance links between devices such as a router to a PC, switch to a modem, or console to a router. Avoid tight bends near the connector ends and do not stretch the cable; route it with gentle curves to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. If you are connecting through patch panels or keystone jacks, ensure the connectors seat fully to maintain a reliable network link.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5m Cat7 cable where minimal cable length is required to reduce signal loss and clutter. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to minimize interference, despite its shielding. Inspect connectors periodically for damage and replace the cable if shielding or plugs become deformed.
