Cavo Ethernet ProXtend CAT6 RJ-45 7 m rosso

The ProXtend CAT6 F/UTP CCA Ethernet Cable (7 m) with RJ-45 connectors provides shielded network connectivity for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) applications. Constructed with copper-clad aluminum (CCA) strands and AWG 26 conductors, the cable is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and a foil screen (F/UTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference. The red PVC jacket and integrated strain relief with latch protection support durable and secure installations.

Advantages

This CAT6 F/UTP cable offers a balance of cost-effectiveness and performance by using CCA conductors while maintaining support for gigabit Ethernet speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s. Shielding with foil reduces EMI for more stable signal integrity, and gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and resistance to corrosion. The cable includes strain relief and latch protection to prevent connector damage during installation and handling.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks and small office setups
• Connecting switches, routers and PCs at gigabit speeds
• Temporary or visible installations where cable colour coding is useful

Key specifications

• Length: 7 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: F/UTP (foil screened pairs with overall unshielded)
• Conductor: Copper-clad aluminum (CCA), AWG 26
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Outer jacket: PVC, red
• Weight: 0.203 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router or PC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the connected device. Ensure connectors click into place with the latch protection engaged. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; the integrated strain relief reduces stress at the connector. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large motors or high-voltage power lines.

Recommendations

Use this ProXtend CAT6 F/UTP CCA cable for indoor network wiring up to 7 m where a cost-effective gigabit-capable connection is required. Avoid permanent outdoor exposure and environments with high mechanical stress; for critical or long-term infrastructure, consider cables with pure copper conductors and additional shielding.
