Cavo in fibra ottica BlueOptics SFP2122BU20MK LC SC G.657.A1 20 m giallo

The BlueOptics SFP2122BU20MK LC–SC single‑mode fibre optic cable is a 20 meter jumper designed to support G.657.A1 bend‑insensitive fibre standards. It connects LC and SC terminations and is intended for reliable single‑mode optical links in equipment rooms, patch panels and point‑to‑point connections. The cable’s yellow jacket improves visibility and cable management in structured cabling installations while maintaining optical performance suitable for InfiniBand and other high‑speed networking applications.

Advantages

This 20 m fibre cable follows G.657.A1 specifications providing improved bend performance compared with standard single‑mode fibres, reducing signal loss in tight routing scenarios. The LC and SC connectors are factory‑terminated to ensure consistent optical loss values and straightforward interoperability with common transceivers and patch panels. The yellow outer sheath offers clear visual identification for single‑mode links and helps keep dense cable runs organized.

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before making connections and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable along cable management trays or through conduits, avoiding sharp bends and crush points despite the bend‑insensitive properties. Insert the LC and SC connectors into compatible adapters or transceivers until they click or seat firmly. Verify optical link status with transceiver diagnostics or a fibre tester to confirm acceptable attenuation and continuity.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled without tight loops and protect connector ends with dust caps when not in use. For installations with frequent reconfiguration, label both ends to simplify identification and maintain records of link endpoints and measured loss values for predictable network maintenance.
