Cavo in fibra ottica C2G InfiniBand 2 m LC SC OFNR turchese

This OM3 duplex multimode fibre optic cable is designed for high-speed network links, including 10GBase-SR, 10GBase-LRM, SFP+ and QSFP+ transceivers. It features a 50 µm core diameter and full-duplex operation, making it suitable for data centre and networking environments. The cable has a low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket that reduces toxic and corrosive gas emission in poorly ventilated or enclosed spaces. It is backward compatible with existing 50/125 equipment and offers the performance margin to support LED and VCSEL light sources and 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications.

Advantages

The LSZH jacket improves safety in confined or poorly ventilated installations by minimising harmful emissions. OM3 multimode construction with a 50 µm core provides compatibility with common multimode transceivers and preserves signal integrity for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links. The duplex format and LC-to-SC connector combination enable straightforward connection between devices using LC and SC ports, while full-duplex support ensures simultaneous bidirectional data transfer.

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or damage before installation. Align the LC connector with the LC port and the SC connector with the SC port, then insert until secure. Use appropriate fibre management and strain relief to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment manufacturer. For permanent installations, route the cable within designated cable trays or conduits and label both ends for easier identification.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 2 m LC–SC fibre cable in indoor data centre or server room installations where low-smoke, zero-halogen properties are required. Avoid repeated plugging and unplugging to preserve connector integrity and always use dust caps when connectors are not mated.
