C2G cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 10 m LC OFNR turchese 50 µm full duplex

This OM3 duplex multimode fibre optic cable by C2G (MPN 85554) is a 10 m LC-terminated link with a 50 µm core designed for full-duplex high-speed connections. It is suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet using compatible transceivers such as 10GBase-SR, 10GBase-LRM, SFP+ and QSFP+, and is backward compatible with existing 50/125 equipment.

Advantages

The cable features an OM3 multimode construction that provides the performance margin required for LED and VCSEL laser sources and 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. Its LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces toxic and corrosive gas emission in poorly ventilated areas, improving safety in data centres and enclosed spaces. The LC connectors and full duplex design enable reliable, bidirectional data transfers over a 10 m length.

How to use

Inspect both LC connectors and device ports for dust or damage before installation. Align the LC connectors with the corresponding LC ports on the transceivers or network equipment and insert until secure. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to preserve optical performance. For duplex operation ensure correct orientation of transmit and receive pairs.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 LC duplex cable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links and InfiniBand or fibre optic interconnects where an LSZH jacket is required; store and handle the cable carefully to avoid contamination of LC end faces and to maintain signal integrity.
