Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O0361.1 1 m LC ST giallo

The EFB Elektronik O0361.1 is a 1 m OS2 singlemode fibre optic patch cable with LC and ST connectors, designed for full duplex data transmission. With a 9 µm core diameter it provides low attenuation and stable signal integrity for short interconnects in rack, cabinet or equipment-to-equipment links. The cable's yellow jacket identifies it as singlemode fibre and its connector combination (LC to ST) makes it suitable for linking devices with differing port types without adapters.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable delivers low insertion loss and high return loss characteristics typical for OS2 singlemode fibres, ensuring minimal signal degradation over the 1 m length. The combination of a compact LC connector and a robust bayonet-style ST connector supports reliable mechanical connection and repeatable performance. The cable's construction is intended to be flexible enough for tight routing in equipment racks while maintaining core alignment and long-term durability.

Key specifications

• Length: 1 m
• Fibre type: OS2 singlemode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector A: LC (female/plug style)
• Connector B: ST (bayonet)
• Mode: Singlemode, full duplex
• Jacket colour: Yellow

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for dust or contamination before insertion and clean if necessary using appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Align the LC connector with the LC receptacle and insert until it latches; align the ST connector with the ST socket and insert while engaging the bayonet locking mechanism. Avoid sharp bends; maintain minimum bend radius as recommended for singlemode fibre during routing. For removal, unlatch the LC connector and rotate the ST connector to disengage the bayonet lock before pulling out.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled loosely and protect connector endfaces with dust caps when not in use. Use this OS2 singlemode patch cable for cabinet-to-equipment or equipment-to-equipment links up to 1 m where LC and ST interfaces must be bridged, and incorporate routine endface inspection and cleaning into maintenance procedures to preserve performance.
