Cavo in fibra ottica DeLOCK 84610 2m LC SC giallo

The DeLOCK 84610 is a 2 m OS2 single-mode fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors and a 9 µm core diameter. Designed for connecting network devices such as a NIC with an SFP module to a switch or a media converter, the cable provides high-speed data transmission with low attenuation. The yellow colour coding facilitates identification and cable management in racks and data-centre installations.

Advantages

The LC–SC termination offers compatibility with equipment using either connector type while maintaining stable optical performance. The OS2 single-mode fibre with a 9 µm core minimises signal loss over longer distances. A 2 m cable length provides a balance between reach and tidy cable routing in server rooms and network closets.

Suitable for

• Connecting NICs with SFP modules to switches
• Linking media converters to network equipment
• Patch connections in data centres and telecommunication cabinets

How to use

Connect the LC connector to the SFP or device port that accepts LC plugs and insert the SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or device port. Ensure connectors are clean before insertion to avoid contamination and signal degradation. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strain; secure it with appropriate cable management accessories.

Recommendations

Keep connector dust caps on when the cable is not in use and clean connectors with proper fibre cleaning tools before connecting. Avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius and protect it from physical damage to maintain optical performance.
