Cavo in fibra ottica DeLOCK LC duplex a SC duplex OM4 2 m

The DeLOCK Fiber Optical Cable LC Duplex to SC Duplex OM4 2m is a 2‑meter multimode fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission between networking devices. It features LC duplex and SC duplex connectors and OM4 grade multimode fiber to support full duplex communication. The cable is suitable for connecting switches, media converters and other network equipment where low-loss, high-bandwidth links are required.

Advantages

This fiber optical cable is fitted with metal armouring that increases protection against mechanical damage, moisture, dust and rodent impact while maintaining flexibility and bendability. The OM4 multimode fiber ensures improved bandwidth and reduced attenuation for short to medium distance links. LC duplex and SC duplex connectors provide reliable mating with common networking ports.

Key specifications

How to use

Insert the LC duplex connector into the LC port of the source device and the SC duplex connector into the SC port of the destination device, or vice versa depending on your equipment. Ensure connectors and ports are free of dust before mating; use appropriate dust caps or a fiber cleaning tool if necessary. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid crushing or excessive tensile forces to preserve optical performance.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short to medium range multimode links where OM4 performance is required. Store and install the cable in a dry environment and avoid prolonged exposure to aggressive chemicals or temperatures outside the equipment specifications. For best results, clean connectors before each insertion and follow manufacturer guidelines for bend radius and tensile load.
