Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik duplex LC-LC 50/125µ OM5 7,5 m

The EFB Elektronik Duplex LC-LC 50/125µ OM5 fibre optic cable is a 7.5 m multimode patchcord designed for high-speed data transmission. With a 50 µm core and OM5 specification, it supports full duplex links and extended multimode performance suitable for data centers, server rooms and enterprise networks. The compact LC-LC duplex connectors provide a secure connection between active equipment ports and passive interfaces, following structured cabling principles.

Advantages

This fibre jumper adheres to international structured cabling standards (ISO/IEC 11801) and uses LC duplex connectors for space-efficient, reliable terminations. The 50/125 µm OM5 multimode fibre enables improved bandwidth over longer multimode distances compared with earlier OM standards, and the 7.5 m length offers flexibility for typical rack-to-rack or patch-panel connections. The cable is suitable as a shortest-link patchcord between device ports and infrastructure components.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and rack-to-rack connections
• Server room interconnects and switch-to-switch links
• Multimode network applications requiring OM5 bandwidth and duplex transmission
• Short to medium multimode links up to the recommended OM5 distances

How to use

Connect one LC duplex plug to the active device port (for example a switch or transceiver) and the other LC duplex plug to the passive interface or patch panel port. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to prevent signal loss. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; follow your site’s cable management practices. For duplex operation, keep transmit and receive pairs aligned per device labelling.

Recommendations

Use in environments where multimode OM5 performance and LC duplex form factor are required. Clean connectors with suitable fibre cleaning tools, avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius, and store or route the cable in organised trays or ducts to maintain signal integrity.
