Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand BlueOptics SFP3131FU7.5MK 7,5 m LC OM4

The BlueOptics SFP3131FU7.5MK is a 7.5 meter duplex OM4 multimode fiber patch cord with LC/UPC to LC/UPC connectors and a magenta LSZH jacket. Designed for 850 nm transmission, this InfiniBand-compatible LC‑LC OM4 cable (50/125 µm core) supports high-speed full‑duplex connections between patch panels, optical transceivers and other network devices in data centers and structured cabling installations.

Advantages

This LC‑LC OM4 duplex cable offers low attenuation (2.5 dB/km), low insertion loss and high return loss. Connectors use zirconia ceramic ferrules and branded fiber from reputable manufacturers to ensure stable, low‑loss transmission and a rated mating cycle life up to 1500 connections. Each cable is tested with interferometer and OTDR and delivered with a measurement protocol for insertion and return loss. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and avoids halogen release in fire scenarios and the cable meets common industry standards including Telcordia GR‑326‑Core.

How to use

Inspect connectors and ensure dust caps are removed before mating. Plug each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on the transceiver or patch panel, observing duplex polarity. Route the cable without sharp bends and secure it with appropriate cable management to avoid microbends. For best performance verify link quality using an optical tester and compare recorded insertion and return loss values with the supplied measurement protocol.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM4 LC‑LC patch cord in a dry, dust‑free environment. Avoid bending radii smaller than manufacturer recommendations, clean connectors with suitable fiber cleaning tools before connection, and request custom lengths from the supplier if standard sizes do not fit the installation.
