Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand BlueOptics SFP3133EU15MK 15 m LC ST

The BlueOptics SFP3133EU15MK InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15 m LC ST is a duplex multimode link designed for high-speed data transmission between networking equipment that supports InfiniBand interfaces. The cable features one LC connector and one ST connector, a 15 meter length and OM3 multimode fibre with a 125 µm core diameter, enabling reliable full-duplex communication over moderate distances in data centers, telecom racks and enterprise network environments.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides stable signal integrity and low attenuation thanks to OM3 multimode fibre construction and standardized connector types. The combination of an LC connector and an ST connector allows flexible interfacing with different devices and transceivers without the need for adapters in many installations. The 15 m length offers a practical balance between reach and manageability for trunking and cross-connect runs within racks and between nearby rooms.

How to use

Connect the LC end to the corresponding LC port on the transceiver or device and the ST end to the ST-port on the mating equipment, ensuring connectors are clean and properly latched. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre. Use cable management within racks and conduits to prevent kinks and to keep the run organized. Verify link status and performance using the host or switch diagnostics after installation.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean connector endfaces before each connection to reduce insertion loss. Avoid tight bends and pulling on the fibre; secure the cable with appropriate ties and routing accessories. For critical links, document length and test optical loss to confirm the run meets system requirements.
