Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand Lanview LVO231407 2 m 2x LC giallo

The Lanview LVO231407 is a 2 m single mode fibre optic patch cable with 2x LC connectors and OS2 fibre type. It features a 9 µm core diameter and full-duplex support, enabling reliable high-speed links for enterprise networks, telecom rooms, server farms and cloud storage networks. The yellow jacket makes the cable easy to identify within bundled installations. The cable is suitable for 1G/10G/40G/100G Ethernet connections and can carry data up to 10 km at 1310 nm or up to 40 km at 1550 nm. The patch cord uses LSZH jacket material and conforms to common industry standards.

Advantages

Single mode OS2 construction provides low attenuation for long-distance transmission. LC connectors offer a compact form factor suitable for high-density patch panels and transceivers. The 2 m length balances reach and neat cable management in racks and distribution frames. The yellow LSZH jacket improves visibility and reduces hazardous smoke in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Enterprise network backbone and horizontal runs
• Telecom rooms and data centre interconnects
• Server farms and cloud storage network links
• Connecting 1G, 10G, 40G and 100G Ethernet equipment

How to use

Inspect connectors for contamination and use a fibre-cleaning tool if necessary before mating. Route the 2 m patch cord between LC ports on transceivers, patch panels or optical distribution frames, avoiding tight bends and sharp edges. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and latched in LC adapters. For best performance, maintain the specified bend radius and avoid mechanical stress on the cable and connectors.

Recommendations

Use this OS2 LC–LC 2 m patch cable for short interconnects inside racks or between nearby distribution points. Keep connectors capped when not in use and store coils without kinks. For long-distance links beyond the specified ranges, verify system loss budget and consider appropriate transceivers or amplification.
